    First things first, this isn't just a booking enquiry. It's the start of us figuring out if we're actually a good match.

    So when you message me, I'm not rushing to send you a price list. I want to hear about you two, how you met, who's going to be there, what bits of the day you already know you'll want to remember forever. A wedding day flies by, and the photos are really the only thing you get to keep afterwards, so it matters that whoever's holding the camera actually gets you. That's what this first chat is for.

    Once you're booked

    Booking me is the easy part. The next few months are where we quietly build everything that makes the day itself feel effortless.

    You'll get a relaxed questionnaire from me, nothing formal, more a chance to tell me about the people and moments you don't want me to miss. Dad's speech, your nan sneaking in a hug before the ceremony, whatever it is. We'll talk through timings too, but honestly that's the boring bit. The real planning is me getting a proper feel for how your day is going to unfold, so that on the morning itself, I already know where I need to be.

    The day itself

    This is where I try to disappear just a tiny a bit. I'm there, obviously, but I'm not directing traffic or making you pose for anything you don't want to do.

    Think of me as the mate with a camera who happens to know exactly when something's about to happen. I'll catch your dad's face right before he sees you, the proper laugh mid-speech, the quiet five minutes you steal together before it all kicks off again. No forced shots, no interrupting the moment to get "the angle." Just you two, living the day, while I get on with capturing it honestly.
