Hi, I’m Joey, a Wedding Photographer based in Essex, UK.
After spending years in a fast-paced, sociable, corporate world, I realised that my true passion was somewhere more meaningful, behind the camera.
Now, I use the people skills I naturally honed in that world to connect with couples, put them at ease, and photograph one of the happiest, most memorable days of their lives.
I have always been an incredibly creative person and photography has allowed me to combine my love for interacting with people, whilst letting my creativity flow, all resulting in beautifully curated images.
Authenticity
My main goal is to ensure my couples feel completely confident in me, almost seeing me as more of a guest, than a supplier. I pride myself on my ability to connect with people on a personal level, understanding exactly what it is that makes them truly happy, as this happiness is exactly what will show in the images I capture.
Reliability
A good Wedding Photographer is nothing, if they are not reliable. In my opinion, reliability is the foundation of trust, which is incredibly important on a wedding day. I aim to remove any sense of stress from my couples prior to, or on their special day and the reassurance that I will be there, prepared and on time, removes that uncertainty from a couple.
Intentionality
Everything I do, is for a reason. Some photographers will simply show up and let the ball roll, which is fine…but this is not how I like to work. Everything I do in the background, from the minute I end an initial intro call with a couple, makes part of the overall service a couple receives from me. Meticulous planning, shot lists, timeline organisation etc all results in a best in class service, that my couples recommend time and time again.
My entire approach to Wedding & Engagement Photography is to make my couples feel as comfortable and confident as possible in front of the camera.
Capturing beautiful images, whilst taking away any nerves, on one of the most incredible days of their lives.
With a natural, yet artistic style of photography, I focus on capturing authentic moments, as they happen, to preserve that emotion in stunning photographs for you to enjoy forever.
